Description
The resource will interface with the various company functions to offer support in the Compliance area. The activities in which it will be involved are of daily support to the internal functions in the compliance area with particular reference to: data protection, administrative liability of entities, international sanctions and corporate secretariat.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Compliance Specialist to ensure the global compliance program
- Support the Senior Compliance Specialist in a management of privacy and data protection work, ensuring compliance, especially with GDPR, in a global organization
- Support the preparing and reviewing data processing agreements, privacy policies, legitimate interest assessments, and data protection impact assessments as well as assisting with any relevant privacy requests
- Support the Senior Compliance Specialist with the interaction to DPO in the exercise of their responsibilities, such as support managing data subject requests, and performing internal and external audits
- Provide support on special projects and collaborate with business teams and the Senior Compliance Specialist
- Help develop tools changes and products that are privacy - compliant by design and by default
- Support the Senior Compliance Specialist with the interaction to relations with external consultants and advisors, acting as a mediator between them and our business lines
- Make sure you stay up to date with the latest legislation, and keep abreast of corporate best practices in the fields of data security and protection
- Support corporate secretarial activity (support to the planning of the Boards of Directors and Shareholders' Meetings, including the definition of the Agenda and the preparation of documents / Keeping of company books / Transmission of communications to the Supervisory Authorities / Management of powers of attorney / Filing of corporate information at the Business Register, in accordance with regulatory obligations / Management of the PEC box)
- Degree in law
- Previous experience of 6 months in multinational company or 1/2 years in a law firm
- Ability to work in a dynamic and international context
- Fluent in English is mandatory (intermediate level)
- Basic knowledge of business/quality management systems and reference standards (ISO)
- Familiarity with the main IT supports and knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 package
Preferred Qualifications
- Compliance and Data Protection training certifications
- Internal Auditor and / or Risk Management certifications
- Knowledge of a second language (Italian and French are preferred)
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation sector
