We are looking for a Technical Support within the Manufacturing, Operations and Service Unit of Gridspertise: Enel’s brand new subsidiary company, born from the long term field proven expertise of our Global Infrastructure & Networks Business Line.

Gridspertise is the new company of Enel Global Infrastructure and Networks whose mission is to foster the transformation and digitalization of DSOs at a global level towards increasingly reliable and sustainable smart grids, offering a portfolio of innovative products and services. In this context, Manufacturing, Operation and Services function is responsible for defining the production strategies of electronic devices for smart grids (such as smart meters and electronic concentrators) and for the start-up and management of production lines at Contract Manufacturers, guaranteeing the quality. of the product and the compliance with delivery plans to customer DSOs.

What you will do:

- To provide local and remote technical support to all the internal and external stakeholders of the relevant perimeter (Troubleshooting)
- To provide first level and specialized support to the relevant functions
- To lead and train the relevant stakeholders in technical activities (use of devices, remote systems, tools, etc.) interacting with multidisciplinary groups from different countries
- To support initial and critical phases of new projects/contracts (installation, commissioning, fine-tuning, KPIs achievement, etc.)
- To manage and support pilots and PoCs
- To be always updated with the last evolution of the technology


Who you are:

Master’s degree in Engineering, (preferably: Electronic, Electronic or Telecommunication), with:

Knowledge of distribution network systems and grid operations
Knowledge of Enel Smart Metering devices and technologies (e.g. Telegestore, Cervantes, Open Meter)
Knowledge of Enel smart grid technologies (RTU, RGDAT, RGDM, Smart street box, etc.) and virtual devices (Qed)
Experience in field technical support
Preferably at least 2 years’ experience in activities related with Smart Meter and/or Smart Grid
It would be considered a plus:

Knowledge of Smart Grid technologies available on the market
Knowledge of Technical standards and regulations applicable for smart grid devices
Knowledge of TLC networks operation (3G, 4G, 5G, TCP/IP, etc.)
Experience in problem solving and participation of medium/high complexity project
Any other foreign language would be considered a plus
