Generali Investments Holding S.p.A. guarantees a solid framework of services designed to support various asset management activities. Key elements include back office activities, organized to provide maximum efficiency; advanced reporting systems and sophisticated technological infrastructures. The company also acts as a holding company, retaining share capital in the boutiques and Generali Investments’ companies.

Master Data Management Unit is in charge of managing a uniform set of reference data regarding GAMCOs, financial instruments, clients and portfolios, granting accuracy and consistency in consolidating them from multiple sources into a standard format and of managing a uniform set of prices regarding GAMCOs financial instruments. In particular, Investments Assets Data team is responsible of the following activities:

- Manage Investments asset data for Group Head Office, GIA&WM Business unit and external clients
- Coordinate the activities of Third Party/ Mark to Market, Insurance and Business Intelligence
- Provide running reporting services
- Address and manage all users’ requirements

The candidate will support the following activities:

- Support the team implementing guidelines in  terms of Data Governance, with the aim of organizing data in a helpful way for the production of a structured reporting and data delivery to stakeholders
- Provide structured and qualitative reports focused on investment performance monitoring
- Support the import of accounting data into the Investment data-warehouse
- Check the data quality of information sourced from Local Entities within IDW project
- Management of the outputs generated from the Investment data warehouse
- Involvement in ongoing process developments
- Strong interaction with colleagues of the Generali Group business units, for both business as usual and future developments
- Understanding the needs of data Producers and Consumers, generating business and technical requirements analysis
- Functional interface with external IT vendors throughout the entire software development life-cycle
- Project management and coordination: involvement both as team member and project leader on various mid to long-term projects within the Investments business units or including different stakeholders such as other Head office or local units. (Process design, planning phase, implementation rules, supervision, testing, etc.)

Requisiti

Master’s Degree in Economics or similar
Fluency in English is a requisite. Good knowledge of other languages would represent a plus
Analytical skills (Excel) are also a prerequisite
Basic knowledge on data warehousing and SQL coding language represents a plus
Basic knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
Basic knowledge on finance and characteristic of different financial instrument’s reference data
Former experience in consultancy firms represent a plus
