We have five year long opportunities across PR, Buzz Marketing, Product Marketing and Developer Relations for hardworking and passionate individuals looking to develop their personal and professional lives which will commence in July 2020. The roles are competitively salaried and during the internship you will have a range of responsibilities including day to day tasks alongside longer project work. During the programme, you will become a vital and impactful member of the team and every single day will be different, rewarding and meaningful!
We are a fast paced company and your responsibilities are likely to grow and change during your time with us. This is a short overview of each role:
PR (2 vacancies): Supporting the PR and Events team, you will deliver our key messages and communications strategy. As a Communications intern you are front of line with both the media and our customers. You will be the first point of contact in a busy press office for journalist enquiries, proactively monitoring and evaluating Apple’s media coverage. Event responsibilities will include travel logistics and itineraries, event budget management; production of event planning documents and communications, analysing internal and external events, venue and vendor research. Ad hoc projects will include planning and execution support of PR momentum campaigns, new store openings, influencer events, launch event support, and key vertical events.
Buzz Marketing: Supporting the Buzz Marketing Manager across a number of areas including: coordination and tracking of product placement inventories. Managing external relationships with key contacts in film and television to help Apple achieve desired results from product placement. Monitoring and reporting on the hardware-related activities of the influencers and celebrities we partner with throughout the year and focusing on product launches and key moments in time.
Product Marketing: Working alongside the Apple Product Marketing team and support our European launch, momentum and marketing strategies. The role offers opportunity to gain insight across all product categories including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. Producing data reporting templates, improving and standardising reporting tools for senior executives. Gathering and reporting market data for the Europe region. Coordinating quarterly marketing reviews between Europe Product Marketing. Sharing with wider marketing teams, and engaging in a variety of ad-hoc marketing projects.
Developer Relations: You will develop and maintain relationships with the local developer community and with developer organisations in EMEA to get such developers to build innovative products that fully leverage key iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS technologies across all key app genres. Working closely with Technology Evangelists and Partnership Managers, in Europe and in the US, you will help making sure that these apps exhibit outstanding user experience, performance and feature sets.
Able to complete the full programme (1 year), starting July 2020.
These are entry level roles and are all based in London. We can support relocation from other parts of the UK.
