WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
NIKE’s European Logistics Campus (ELC) in Laakdal, Belgium serves a large network of retailers, Nike stores and consumers not just in Europe but across the world. We’re looking for intern to join our Marketplace Distribution Planning (MDP) team from February 2021 onwards. In this role the intern will be working on an initiative to help the team to develop the ‘Supply Chain of the Future’. The person that we’re looking for enjoys taking initiative and is an outstanding teammate who is both creative and critical.
6-month internship starting in February 2021 with a minimum of 4 working days

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
The Marketplace Distribution Planning team plays a central role in flowing product to the consumer, balancing Distribution Center (DC) supply chain and market requirements. As an intern at the MDP team, you’ll be evaluating, mapping and improving DC planning processes to be able to deliver to our promise and become more responsive to the (future) marketplace. This internship will give you valuable insight and knowledge of different processes and systems within our supply chain. It will enable you to develop your project management skills, provide opportunities to grow your end-to-end thinking by identifying and driving change within the organization.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You’ll operate in close contact with a diverse team of people who work on planning the flow of our products within the Nike ELC Distribution Centers. During your internship you’ll connect with people from different departments within Nike ELC and Nike’s European HQ in the Netherlands. One of our inspiring coaches will mentor you throughout the internship to ensure the best Nike experience!
WHAT YOU BRING:
You’re currently following a master’s degree program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics or in another related field, but most importantly you’re interested in Supply Chain.
You are interested in project management and have a critical eye for processes while you are constantly in the lookout for improvement opportunities.
Taking initiative and thinking out of the box is a second nature to you, and you enjoy working part of a team but can also work independently.
Energetic communication skills in English (written and spoken)
