MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In this position you will support the building of PepsiCo Nordics external communication agenda, help and support our sustainability vision and our public affairs Nordics agenda in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
Support with preparation and execution of the Nordic External Communications agenda
Support the business within Sustainability/CSR and Public Affairs (e.g. research for information, ad-hoc tasks and contribute with local views and experiences on specific issues as part of the PPGA & Comms and Sustainability network).
Further description on External Communications:
Support the creation of the sustainability external outreach agenda
Support Manager with the roll-out of European sector’s external communications activities
Contribute and maintain a rolling 6-months communications activity calendar every month
Stakeholder mapping for relevant media and NGO networks.
Further on Internal Communications:
Support Manager in securing alignment with the North West Europe Communications department and occasionally on creating and sharing internal communications for the Nordic employees
Co-ordinate the townhalls and General Manager Calls
Create Nordic stories and content for digital channels; like PEPNews, PEPFeed, digital screens and Yammer.
Employer Branding & Employee Engagement:
Build corporate reputation by developing an Employer Branding plan together with Talent Acquisition and Communications
Support internal campaigns and projects around Employee Engagement and Diversity & Inclusion.
Act as PPGA & Communications Manager back-up point of contact for the Nordics
Provide support and advice to Consumer Relations on occasional consumer or SoMe queries.
Finished Bachelor degree in Communications, currently on Master program
Fluency in written and verbal Danish or another Scandinavian language (written and verbal)
Excellent English language skills, written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PPT, Excel) and digitally-savvy.
Desired:Preferably 6-12 months of similar work experience (in the food and beverage industry or multinational company).
Strong communicator; able to translate complex issues into simple and convincing communications
Good at planning your time and keeping the overview. Easy to work with; open, customer oriented and adaptable
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate effectively across all levels and all functions of the organization
Ability to work constructively to get results. Solution oriented – we do not say “no”, but try to find solutions that all are happy with.
Motivated self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative as well as being a great teammate, dealing with complexity and uncertainty
Confident enough to work in a challenging environment with unexpected tasks, with five different Nordic markets and different product categories.
