The internship assignment
You will be part of the EU Service Engineering team, working on the infotainment system. The infotainment system encompasses an embedded Linux system running the user interface, cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, over-the-air firmware updates and diagnostic tools for Service. You will work as an engineer alongside the team, supporting Service to repair vehicles by investigating diverse and complex issues. You will work with the vehicle code base to understand such behaviours, find their root cause and potentially implement the fix, often liaising with the North American development team. You will also develop or improve software tools to help Service diagnose vehicles.

Support Service teams with in-depth investigations of new infotainment issues.

Help in developing vehicle software to aid Service teams.
Fluency in English.
Holds or currently studying in the last years for a degree in Computer Science / Embedded electronics.
Some experience in either C / C++, Python, Git.
Comfortable with the Linux command line.
Open-minded and collaborative.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented.
Capable of working in a fast paced and always changing environment.
