Global Corporate & Commercial is the Generali Group unit that develops P&C business and insurance services for medium and large companies. The unit acts on a global scale and deploys an integrated approach at Group level with a central management team and specialized teams active in individual countries. Through GC&C, Generali aims to become a key world player in the corporate-commercial segment.

We are looking for Graduates interested in starting a career in corporate insurance to join our International Graduate Program.

Timing of the graduate program:
* 1 year fixed term contract in our Central Team in Milan, where the on-the-job experience is going to be alternated with technical training moments.
* Opportunity to relocate mainly in the following locations: Munich, Hong Kong, London, Jersey City (US).

Main activities

You will be trained and involved in Underwriting (mainly Parametrics, Financial Lines, Property, Casualty and Engineering), Claims or Multinational programs activities, like:  

Underwriting
* Participate in underwriting activities and related negotiations with clients and brokers in coordination with client and broker relationship management as well as senior leadership
* Support in identify and evaluate risks (according to underwriting framework, technical underwriting guidelines and defined risk appetite) to ensure portfolio profitability
* Contribute to projects for product and market development in order to position GC&C among the market players for the Line of business

Claims
* Support the overall claims handling procedure, contribute in proposing solutions for process improvement and simplification
* Monitoring the claims portfolio in the different Lines of business with frequent KPI tracking
* Cultivate customer relations in accordance with the "Life Partner" principles that inspire the Group's mission through a correct balance between technical and soft skills

Multinational programs & Network management
* Participate in project management activities for Multinational programs driven and related projects
* Support in broker market engagement process, e.g. meeting & presentation preparation
* Work with the team on Network management activities (on boarding, data quality, processes, issues resolutions?)

What we are looking for:
* University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, Engineering (Management, Civil, Mechanical), Statistics and Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Law, Finance
* Fluency in English. A second language is a plus, preferably German and Italian

* Consolidated advanced skills in using the main IT-tools
