We are seeking qualified candidates for a Simulation Based Design Intern role to join our Fabriano Laundry Team. The Intern will report to the local manager of the Simulation Based Design (SBD) Team, and will perform and coordinate with Platform Engineers, the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to drive product design improvements on the basis of the engineering requirements and constraints as well as simulation development projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Run analysis for the Laundry Team using Ansys Workbench & Classic / Hypermesh, prepare reports and reviews with the platform design team.
- Involve in the system modelling development.
- Usage of programming languages C++ / Python to develop automation.
- Analysis of simulation / Test Data using tools like Mode-frontier, Minitab. JMP.
- Coordinate analysis with offshore simulation team
- Develop new simulation capabilities.
- Align simulation as needed to engineering requirements

Minimum requrements:
- Master degree student or a fresh graduate in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Good knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA);
- Experience with ANSYS, Altair Hypermesh and LS-Dyna or equivalent would be considered as a plus
- Strong materials understanding including hyperelasticity, creep and fatigue or metals, plastics and rubbers
- Pro-Engineer (Wildfire/Creo) modeling capability would be considered as a plus
- Fluency both in Italian and in English
