We are now looking for an Intern in Mobile Packet Core (EPC and 5GC) Engineering and there is a great opportunity to stay with Ericsson after the internship period.
The tasks will be to study the new and the consolidated technology trends, deep analysis on the 3GPP standard technologies, implement and verify the configuration of Ericsson node, network and/or system. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, testing, upgrade expansion.
You’ll get the opportunity to:
- Study and understand the new and the consolidated mobile network technology with focus on Core. (5G / 4G)
- Support on node product configuration / integration /testing for Packet Core and 5GC
- Implement E2E testing, working close to other Team/project members for the E2E Scenario
- Work on the test automation using scripting & tracing
- Partecipate actively in Project activities
Key skills
Student or Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication field
Ideally, first professional experience
Technical understanding of Cloud, Virtualization, and Virtual Machines internetworking
Packet Core and 5GC network knowledge/understanding (system solutions and network setup)
Capability on Cloud native technologies (microservices/containers/dockers/Kubernetes) would be a plus
Knowledge of Linux system, scripting, Open stack
Good communication and team working as well as intercultural skills
Good command of English
Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability
Fresh and creative attitude
Speak-up attitude!
